VISION

Our Vision is to establish a regional House of Prayer in the Northland of Kansas City Missouri as a location for night and day worship and prayer. Our goal is to gather a community of worshipers, singers, musicians and intercessors to pursue intimacy with God, a lifestyle of holiness and the preperation for Jesus’ return at the end of the age.

Core Values

Intimacy (Bridal Paradigm) - We value and are committed to cultivating, nurturing and pursuing a lifestyle of intimacy with God. Our inheritance and destiny is to experience the deep things of God’s heart. It is the understanding of the heart of God who is filled with love and compassion for weak human beings that enables us to pursue God without fear and condemnation and serve Him wholeheartedly. Intimacy with God is a two-fold invitation that transcends gender. As sons of God, we live before the Father as we experience God’s throne as full heirs of His authority, power and dominion (Matt. 18:14, Luke 12:30, John 3:16, 16:25-28, 1 John 3:1). As the Bride of Christ, we encounter Jesus as our Bridegroom God, experiencing the emotions of God’s heart (Song of Solomon, Hosea 2:16, Isaiah 62:5, Matt. 9:15, John 3:29, and Rev. 18:23). We believe it is this foundation of intimacy with God that will prepare us for Jesus’ return as well as strengthen our hearts with courage and confidence to stand immovable in these last days.

Lifestyle of Holiness (Sermon on the Mount) - We hold, as a core value, the Kingdom lifestyle which Jesus spoke of in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5, 6 & 7). We believe this passage clearly outlines the life of a forerunner, one who walks in: humility, longing for His return, meekness, righteous hunger, mercy, purity, peace, and steadfastness in the face of persecution. This supernatural lifestyle is contrary to the “spirit of the age” and is only possible as we allow His desires to become our desires in the secret place. As we follow the biblical examples of Isaiah, Daniel, John the Baptist and others, who stood as citizens of another realm and another age (Heb. 11:10), we contend for the reality that Jesus prophesied in Matthew 6:10…”Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”. It is this lifestyle and posture of our hearts before the Lord, that will prepare us for His return and to rule and reign with Him in the coming age.

Urgency (End Times) - We believe in the literal Second Coming of Jesus Christ at the end of the age when Jesus will return to establish His Kingdom (1 Thess. 4:15-18; Matt. 24:29-31; Rev. 1:7, 20:4). He will return for a Bride who has made herself ready for Him (Luke 12:35-40; Rev. 19:7), whose life is walked out in intimacy and partnership with His Kingdom purposes (Isa. 2:2; Dan. 7:27; Matt. 6:9-10) and whose heart is postured in hunger and longing for His return (Rev. 22:17; SONG 8:14). Prior to Jesus’ return, the earth will experience unprecedented upheaval as God shakes everything that can be shaken (Hag 2:6-7; Heb. 12:26-27; Matt. 24:21; 1 Thess. 5:2-3). At the same time there will be a great outpouring of God’s glory and power as worldwide revival is released (Matt. 24:14; Rev. 14:15; Isa. 60:2). As this urgent hour of history bears down upon us, we believe much of the Western Church remains asleep and unprepared (Isa. 52:1). As a House of Prayer, we are committed to releasing a voice of urgency (Joel 2) through worship, intercession and proclamation to help awaken and prepare this end-time Bride of Christ.
